I would like to share a posting that I recently read that was written by Anthony as it was very inspirational to me, and I am sure it will be for you also.

There is NO age or degree requirement to be an entrepreneur. Let me repeat that. There is no age limit or degree requirement to be an entrepreneur. I don’t care if you are 12 years old, a high school senior, a school drop out, a recently laid off W-2 wage earner, or a recent unemployed baby boomer from a downsized corporate America…

We live in America and last I checked… this country still offered life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness (It’s even in our constitution!) LOL.

Nobody can take away from you the ability to open your eyes, look around and create something or see something that others need and are willing to pay for.

There is NO joy greater in life (perhaps than giving birth) than inventing some new product, service or invention that creates value to the world or to those around you. And even better when they are willing to pay money for it!

So what is this thing we call the American Dream? Is it owning that house, the fancy cars, designer clothes, or fancy gadgets we grew up on watching on TV? What does it all mean? Do you find yourself asking yourself what you want to be when you grow up? What are you going to college for? Are you preparing to go to college? Are you recently laid off or trying to find a job? Are you heading in the right direction?

And thee most important question: What do you want to create or do…before you go…so that the World and your lineage… will remember you?

Ever thought of starting your own business? Being an Entrepreneur? American doesn’t need more college grads seeking jobs… We need more Entrepreneurs…and that means YOU! The sooner we gear our young adults and recently unemployed baby boomers up for this new economy, the sooner we will be better off at retaining and restoring our position in the globe as the number one innovator, as well as the leading job and opportunity creator.

Entrepreneurs are responsible for 75% of all new jobs being created today. But we need more them! There simply isn’t enough being done by our schools systems: both K-12 and college…at teaching folks how to start their own small business, which would then result in more job creation and more opportunities. The reality of our economy is rapidly changing. Corporate America is no longer a promise of job, benefits, or pensions….as it was from the 1950s to the late 1990s. We are at the dawn of a new era. We can take the economy in hand and drive our own destinies, but we must arm ourselves with the confidence and the basic blueprints of how to do so.

Becoming a successful Entrepreneur and starting your own business doesn’t take a college degree, heck you don’t even need to wait to finish high school. The American Dream is attainable right now…today…by YOU. Learning and becoming a successful entrepreneur is about taking initiative, taking risks, creating experiences (successes and failures) and building on those experiences. Each small business you start will improve your knowledge and carry you to the next level.

It took me 20 years of experiences, launching companies as a young teen and later as an adult, many days and nights, trying to figure it all out…how to make money in America as an entrepreneur. Most importantly importantly… how to leave a working blueprint for others to do the same.
